Grill cook responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking
- Cook food on a grill, ensuring high quality of the final product
- Plate the food in an attractive manner
- Maintain the work area clean and organized
Food preparation worker responsibilities:
- Weigh or measure ingredients
- Assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed and provide cooks with needed items
- Wash, peel and cut various foods to prepare for cooking or serving
- Place food trays over food warmers for immediate service or store them in refrigerated storage cabinets
- Stir and strain soups and sauces
- Use manual and /or electric appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foods
