Description

The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Conference Centre is seeking 1 permanent, full-time Night Auditor & 1 6-month term with a possible opportunity to move to permament Night Auditor to join our incredible Front Desk team! DoubleTree boasts competitive wages & benefits, and has a positive and welcoming team dynamic that you will want to be a part of!

The shifts are 6 nights on, and 3 nights off on a rotating schedule; therefore to be considered, candidates must be available 7 nights a week.

Hours are 11:00 p.m to 7:30 a.m.

Reporting to the Front Office Manager, the main duties will include, but are not limited to:

-Verify, record and balance daily transactions and post figures to accounting systems.
-Count and verifty totals of front desk cash floats.
-Print all required reports for next day.
-Reconcile and balance revenues generated as per the night audit reports.
-Perform end of day, month and year-end procedures as per hotel requirements.
-Check evening guests in and out as required, handle all customer inquiries and complaints as the front desk associate over night.

Minimum Requirements:
-Grade 12
-Basic Accounting skills and knowledge
-Established customer service and strong verbal written and verbal communication skills
-Strong problem solving skills with ability to think quickly
-Trustworthy and reliable
-Bondable
