Description

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Manager of Maintenance & Operations, Contract Administrators and Maintenance Supervisors this position is responsible for cleaning vacant units and common areas, snow and ice removal and yard maintenance. This includes a variety of tasks such as: cutting grass, picking up garbage, weeding flower beds, outdoor painting as well as providing general support to other members of the Maintenance Team.  This position acts in the role of front line field personnel, as such, it is expected that the Seasonal/Cleaner will act in a professional manner and will promote strong relationships with Regina Housing, our tenants, and our community partners.

Qualifications:
-Successful completion of Grade 12 education.
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
-General knowledge of cleaning processes and yard maintenance.
-Demonstrate strong interpersonal and team building skills with an emphasis on collaboration and coordination.
-Able to prioritize and organize workload, resources, and time often with competing interests.
-Able to work independently with minimal supervision, this skill will also require the applicant to demonstrate a high degree of self-initiation.
-Able to work with and relate to a diverse client base including people of various cultures, abilities, and social and economic backgrounds. Must maintain confidentiality.


* All applicants must have access to a reliable vehicle and must hold a valid driver's license. Travel throughout Regina is an integral part of this position and will be reimbursed on a per kilometer basis.
* All applicants must be able to provide a CLEAR AND SATISFACTORY CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK.  
*Preference will be given to applicants who have training in WHMIS and Power Mobile Equipment.
