The General Accountants responsibility is to maintain records of financial transactions. To assist the financial controller with comprehensive data entry and analysis.
Maintain system to account for financial transactions.
Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.
Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.
Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries.
Match packing slips to invoices along with pricing.
Prepare cheque runs
Enter invoices and payments set on time.
Reconciling monthly statements
Process expense reports for employees
Post customer payments.
Maintains historical records by filing documents.
Prepares weekly payroll files and related reports.
Reconcile MasterCard statements, petty cash, expense accounts.
Assists with month end procedures and reconciliations.
Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Knowledge of Simply Accounting
Assist in operations as directed by the Financial Controller
Other duties as assigned.
