General Labourer
Express Employment Professionals is a full service staffing & recruiting agency. With construction season upon us, we are actively seeking candidates for a number of temporary and long term construction & carpentry positions in and around Southern Saskatchewan. Desirable candidates are able to work independently and as part of a team, and are highly self-motivated. Candidates must be hard working with high expectations on attendance and punctuality. First preference will be given to those with carpentry experience in a commercial and/or industrial setting.
**Preference will be given to those with a valid license and their own reliable transportation as some locations are not transit friendly; as well as individuals with valid SCOT & Fall Proctection.**
Job Description
Concrete work
Commercial/Industrial experience
Perri Form work
General Clean-up and Maintenance of Site
Digging Trenches
Demolition Clean-up/debris removal
Inventory maintenance
Lifting & Moving materials to designated locations
Loading & Unloading
Equipment operation (hopper, scissor lift, bobcat, loader etc.)
Shoveling and sweeping
Candidate must possess ability to stand and remain physically active for long periods
Valid license and own transportation will be considered a definite asset.
Requirements:
Must be capable of lifting light to heavy items
Must own steel-toed boots, safety vest, safety glasses, safety gloves
Hold valid safety tickets including SCOT, Fall Protection, WHMIS, H2S Alive, Aerial Work Platform etc.
Standing for extended periods
