Ghost Transportation Services is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our team. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday.
Duties required include
Dealing with customer orders and inquiries
Keeping customer communication up to date
Using various computer applications and databases, book transportation with carriers per clients instructions, ensuring all information is relayed accurately
Ensuring that TMS is kept up to date in regards to load status
Organizing and managing paperwork to ensure smooth flow of invoicing
Rate loads for current or completed loads
Quote rates to customers for new business
Analyze current rates to determine if change required
Work with other departments to facilitate overreaching freight movements
Skills required
Ability and desire to seek out answers and research new things without being prompted

Ability to identify problems and help with thought out solutions
Ability to figure out ambiguous situations
Demonstrated ability to use computer software and hardware as well as learn new computer systems
Ability and desire to pick up the ball and run with it
Great communication skills

Ability to see patterns that develop
Ability to problem solve and trouble shoot
Knowledge preferred
Understanding of Transportation Regulations
Understanding of travel times of equipment and variations on different lanes and cities
Understanding of proper/best routing of equipment
Understanding of weights and dimensions in different jurisdictions and different times of year
Understanding of rates, revenue maximization and cost minimization
Understanding of paper flow
Understanding of customer wants and needs as well as operational requirements
Understanding of geography
