Description

The Ministry is currently seeking a dynamic, strategic leader for the position of Executive Director of Communications to lead a team of professionals responsible for a range of core communications services.

You will set the direction and tone of the Ministry's communication function, including allocating the operating budget, policy and procedures, and be responsible for the results. You will have knowledge of strategic communication principles, theories, tools and vehicles, including media relations strategies and practices. You will also have proven senior level management experience, excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a proven ability to provide strategic communications advice to senior government leaders.
