Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Front of House Manager, the Bartenders greet and serve patrons. Ushers greet and assist patrons to their seats. In fulfilling this positions core responsibilities, Globe Theatre expects Bartenders & Ushers to:
To anticipate and meet the needs of Globe Theatres patrons to ensure that they enjoy an outstanding evening of professional theatre.
To represent Globe Theatre in a warm, caring and professional manner.
To provide outstanding customer service in one of two roles; bartender or usher.
Bartenders work with cash, inventory and Point of Sale system.
Ushers must greet and assist guests safely throughout the theatre space.
To perform specific duties according to Globes Emergency Response Plan.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, incredible customer service and interpersonal skills, as well as the following:
Have a valid SIRS certificate
The ability to handle and reconcile a cash float
Excellent time management capabilities
Strong customer service and problem solving skills
The ability to think clearly while under pressure
Bartending experience is an asset, but not a requirement
