Description

Viterra is seeking a Bilingual Oilseed Merchandiser. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic team and assist in the full-cycle logistics of oilseed processing (canola & soy), while ensuring that contractual obligations and customer needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
    Build effective relationships with internal and external customers
    Execute efficient transportation plans and learn about asset management and quality control
    Ensure timely and accurate dispatching and scheduling of shipments
    Coordinate all aspects of contract administration to ensure that contract terms are adhered to
    Receive mentorship from professionals within the merchandising department

Knowledge and Skills:
    Thrives in a challenging and changing, team environment; able to multi-task
    Demonstrates ability to assess risk and exercise judgment in decision making
    Pays attention to details
    Excellent communication skills in both official languages, both oral and written

Education and Qualifications:
    University degree in Agriculture, Commerce or Business Administration (or equivalent post-secondary education)
     Knowledgeable in MS office and experience navigating in different computer software programs
    Basic understanding of the Canadian Grain Industry would be considered an asset
