Browns Socialhouse Rochdale is looking for a dynamic Sous Chef who can manage the business of the kitchen and is ready to excel in a challenging work environment. This person must be energized to join our group and must value the importance of creating strong relationships with his/her team. Role/Responsibilities:
* Conscientiously learn, observe and maintain Browns Socialhouse systems and operations
* Serve consistently excellent food to our exact specifications and within our time standards
* Manage food, kitchen labor, and other kitchen-related costs
* Manage prep inventory
* Maintain immaculately clean kitchens
* Ensure food delivery meets timing standards to our guests
* Continually train, develop and motivate quality employees
* Ensure high quality of food and presentation
* Ensure that proper food safety practices are followed
* Ensure proper receiving, storage, and rotation of inventory Requirements:
* Work well in a fast-paced environment
* Have effective communication skills, both written and oral
* Ability to problem solve effectively
* Excellent organizational skills
* Demonstrate a professional attitude, foster a fun and collaborative environment
* A genuine ability to train, develop and motivate others natural leadership ability
