Tecvalco Ltd is currently recruiting for a Powder Coater to join our team in North Battleford. The successful applicant will be primarily responsible for coating a wide variety of products to high quality standard. The Powder Coater will assist will all aspects of the coating operation, such as preparing products for coating and/or sandblasting, ensuring products are coated according to specification, and packaging finished product. The Powder Coater may also assist with sandblasting product on an as-needed basis.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
Preparing parts for coating
Follow all principles and practices of powder coating application
Loading prepared products onto a line in order to be coated
Powder Coat all products efficiently and according to specifications
Package and wrap finished product ensuring a high quality standard
Manually inspect all products after coating and report any product defects or quality issues
Utilize all tools and machinery according to safety specifications and ensure all safety procedures are being met to ensure a safe work environment
Ensure all tools and machinery are properly cleaned and maintained
Assist with sandblasting parts in preparation for coating
Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED or equivalent
Ability to understand basic mechanical and manufacturing techniques
1-2 years working in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of powder coating procedures and equipment
Previous experience working in Powder Coating a definite asset
