The Custodial Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe and effective cleaning of Vaderstad Industries and its premises. The incumbent will be required to perform tasks such as vacuuming, dusting and disinfecting. Additional duties include notifying management of need for repairs and cleaning snow or debris from sidewalks. The Custodial Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all required tasks are completed thoroughly on time and with minimal supervision
Specific Maintenance Activities
- Remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
- Empty waste containers
- Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures
- Sweep, mop, scrub and wax floors
- Water and tend to plants
- Work with minimal supervision
