As Welder you will join metal parts and fill seams of different components for the machines manufactured in the plant. The welder must obtain steel and components necessary to build a project to specifications, assemble parts using applicable jigs, read blueprints and drawings, test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws and to remove all spatter. Must maintain a clean,safe work area.and do general preventative maintenance of welding equipment. Must be able to mentor and guide apprentices.
