Description

Alberta Traffic Supply (ATS) began as a barricade rental service in the mid-1960s. Since then, we have expanded to become Western Canadas largest traffic sign manufacturer and traffic control product specialist for municipal, provincial, and federal government agencies.

ATS and its Group of Companies are proud of the quality of employees we have on staff. With over 250 employees, we are the largest group of Traffic Control Specialists in Western Canada.

Do you like to work outdoors? We are looking for independent career minded individuals to do deliveries of Traffic Control equipment (Barricades, Signs, Pylons etc.) for customers, as well as doing Traffic Control set up's (i.e. lane closures) in various locations throughout the city and surrounding areas. This position will also be responsible for cleaning, maintaining, repairing and properly storing all rental equipment.

A valid (non-graduated) class 5 driver's license/own transportation is mandatory for this position. Please note that this is a permanent position and not a seasonal position.

Qualifications:
-Construction experience is a must
-Driving/Delivery experience for a construction company is a must
-Traffic Control/Lane closure experience an asset

Requirements/Candidate must have/be able:
-Must have a valid (non-graduated) class 5 driver's license/own transportation (Class 3 license an asset)
-Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
-Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
-Must be able and willing to work OT and be on -call
-Must be very familiar with the city and surrounding areas and have the ability to read maps- Customer service skills
-Ability to work in a team
-Strong communication and coordination skills
-Good penmanship
