Description

We are searching for a an extraordinary part-time candidate who will be able to join our amazing Preschool Coordinator team at First Steps Preschool.  

QUALIFICATIONS:

Professionally prepared as a teacher of young children, especially in the field of early childhood education or development.
Early Childhood Education Level 2 certificate or higher.
Minimum of 5 years experience in working in a preschool or daycare environment with children ages 1-5 of all abilities
Adaptable to all situations.
Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate knowledge of music and/or dance.
CPR & First Aid Certified & up-to-date
All employees are required to complete a criminal record check upon being offered a position for FSP.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Planning, implementation, general supervision, delivery of material and management of a class of preschool children
Follow a Child-Centered approach to learning
Both lead and work alongside other team members
Establishing a positive relationship with parents of the students.
Joint housekeeping responsibilities
Keeping records of evaluation, accurate attendance records, accurate FSP supply records.

Monday-Thursday mornings per week 8:30-12:30

Pay:    Depending on experience.  FSP also offers bonuses and benefits package to our coordinators
