Description

Working with the Village Manager of the Saskatoon Community Service Village (SCSV), the Administrative Assistant provides support through customer service and administrative duties.

The successful candidate for this position will have excellent communication and organizational skills, intermediate computer skills and strong attention to detail.  You will be the first point of contact for clients and members ensuring a positive first impression.  The candidate will also be a self-starter and have the ability to work both independently and as a team member.

Responsibilities:
* Provide front-line customer service duties through the reception area in the Village
* Provide administrative support services for the Village Manager
* Process payments, invoices and receipts for services and external room rentals
* Coordinate SCSV room bookings, update daily schedules and troubleshoot as required
* Provide assistance to various functions, workshops and committees for effective organization within the Village
* Maintain boardrooms and foyer for cleanliness
* Maintain outdoor grounds and flower beds
* Update website and social media outlets
* Other assigned duties as needed


Qualifications:
* Proficient with Microsoft Office 365:  Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Publisher
* Data entry experience, strong attention to detail, knowledge of social media trends
* Office Administrative Assistant diploma with 1-2 years experience
* Positive attitude, friendly, reliable, strong attention to detail, highly organized
* Acknowledging cultural diversity and understanding the Calls to Action from the TRC
* Basic accounting knowledge would be an asset
