Morris Industries is a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of air seeding, tillage, and hay hauling equipment. Our company goal is to provide farmers with the most efficient and reliable products and the best customer service possible.

We are seeking an individual for the position of Financial Analyst to join our team in our Saskatoon Office.

The Financial Analyst is responsible for analysing financial data, preparing budgets and forecasting, and financial reporting. This position will complete financial modelling, scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and business case development. The Financial Analyst will analyse trends and inconsistencies for actual, forecasted, and budget reporting and provide reporting to business units and the management team. They will provide timely advice of interpretation on matters relating to the budget and financial forecasting. This position will also constructively review current processes and look for improvements and efficiencies.

Qualifications:

- Post-secondary education in Business Administration or Commerce with a focus on Finance or Accounting
- 5 years of experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, variance analysis, cost allocation, statistical analysis, and general accounting and financial management
- Professional accounting designation would be an asset
- Strong knowledge of corporate income tax
- Strong analytical and sound business judgement including critical thinking and problem solving to analyse data, identify problems, and recommend solutions
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft office and experience using ERP systems
- Excellent planning, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability
- A comparable combination of education and experience would be considered
