Munch Catering is seeking an experienced catering manager to manage and expand the catering services of Munch.  The successful candidate will work on a part-time basis initially with potential for full-time work. Catering contracts are primarily Monday to Friday.  

Duties and Responsibilities:
Plans, directs and coordinates catering activities for Munch
-    Negotiates catering contracts
-    Schedules catering staff and volunteers
-    Completes grocery shopping
-    Leads catering team in food preparation and delivery
Responsible for client satisfaction through effective communication and follow up
Responsible for food safety compliance
Works alongside general manager to provide day-to-day coaching, mentoring and leadership to catering assistants and       volunteers
Makes recommendations for standard menu and special orders
Makes recommendations for training and management of catering operations

Skills and experience:
Minimum 2 years experience with food preparation in a commercial/catering setting
Food Safety levels I and II
Knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures of catering industry
Relational experience with people with cognitive disabilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Munch is a non-profit catering operation (and registered charity) whose mission is to provide food service training and employment for adults with cognitive disabilities. Munch has been providing catering services in Regina since February 2016 and has a loyal and expanding customer base.
