Our client has an immediate full-time permanent opportunity available for an Agronomy Leader
Responsibilities:
Participate in the development of the national Agronomy Services Strategy, and work with the Regional Leadership Team to develop tactics to be implemented in their regions.
Lead the customer focus strategy
Lead the sales strategy and top line revenue generation for the Farm group
Successfully identifying agronomic needs and help customers make good crop input decisions
Successfully build customer relationships and close sales
Successfully collaborate with the Sales and Agronomy team to ensure top line sales and gross margin goals are being achieved
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of Agronomic Services, farm customers and the agriculture industry
Strong understanding of the crop inputs business and the significance of supplier relationships
Demonstrated ability in sales, marketing and brand management
University or college degree or diploma or equivalent work experience
Eligible for P. Ag. and CCA certification
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Proven ability to coach
Ability to effectively lead a team of diverse employees with demonstrated leadership
