Description

This position provides locum services for existing physicians and/or vacancies in various rural clinics and facilities within southeast Saskatchewan. All medical clinics are staffed, modern, well organized and fully equipped. The incumbent will participate in the on-call rota for the local hospital emergency room. Weekday and/or weekend coverage is required.

Parttime or fulltime contract available, salary and incentive prorated accordingly. "Home base" negotiable within southeast Saskatchewan.

Job Benefits (for fulltime contract):
-$10,000 signing bonus (1 year return in service)
-$11,000 retention bonus
-no overhead
-accommodations for locums away from home base provided
-reimbursement of eligible travel costs from home base
-experience in a variety of communities

Applicants must have:
- College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) (or be eligible for)
- Licensure with CPSS (College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan) (or be eligible for)
-membership and insurance with the Canadian Medical Protective Association
- a valid drivers license
- a reliable personal vehicle - legal entitlement to work in Canada
- acceptable references
- acceptable criminal record check with vulnerable sector search
- flexibility to travel to different communities for various time commitments
