Recognized as one of Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies, Brandt provides top quality products to its customers worldwide.  As a result of continued growth, we are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician for our new Saskatoon Manufacturing Facility. Responsibilities include:

Ensure all machines, tools, equipment and the facility are properly serviced and are in good working order
Perform maintenance related work in the following areas:
Machines, equipment and small tools for all departments
Electrical work
Plumbing and heating
Janitorial
Building maintenance
Hydraulic warranty work
Perform and record all work according to the preventative maintenance schedule
Dismantle and assemble machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, power and hand tools and recognize and report worn and/or damaged parts
Requisition maintenance parts as require
Keep adequate inventory on items requires as replacement parts
Supervise maintenance helpers as required
Report abuse and/or negligence to any plant equipment for machines
Report and/or correct any unsafe machines and equipment
Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:
Must be able to read, understand, and follow instructions from machining diagrams and equipment manuals
Must be able to work safely from ladders and/or scaffolding
Must be knowledgeable in the use and operation of all hand power tools
Must be able to understand and carry out written and verbal instructions
Must be capable of working under minimum amount of supervision
Able to effectively communicate in both technical and user-friendly language when appropriate, with all types of staff, including technical, professional, and upper management
Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with business units, corporate departments, key managers, and other stakeholders
Flexibility to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines.
