Job Description: The Specialist, HRIS, provides client services and end user application support for 3sHealth's Human Resource Information System (HRIS). Services include payroll consultation, standards and best practices and ongoing maintenance and support of the system, as well as support of end-to-end payroll services for 3sHealth and for clients who subscribe to 3sHealth's payroll services.
Required Qualifications
Completion of, or willingness to attain, a Payroll Compliance Practitioner Certification through the Canadian Payroll Association
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a combination of post-secondary education and experience.
Experience
Two years' experience in the implementation, maintenance and support of Human Resources Management Systems, with exposure to human resource and payroll processes, collective agreement and legislative requirements.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite and related software, including SharePoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and high attention to detail
Ability to manage time and set personal goals and priorities to achieve department results.
Able to manage conflict in real time and focus on solutions as opposed to laying blame
Ability to identify root cause and develop/recommend solutions
Technically proficient in the use of human resources information systems; must be able to quickly learn and navigate through computer based programs such as: Gateway Online.
Ability to analyze complex situations, data and environments to produce workable and practical solutions
