Pattison Agriculture is growing and is looking for a Used Equipment Inspector. This position will report to the Regional Used Equipment Manager and will be based out of Swift Current.
In this position, you will you will support the organizations quality programs; evaluate and determine the reconditioning costs to get the machine ready for sale, and any issues for used equipment being considered for trade; enter information into MFPro; and prepare written analyses with pictures outlined by Pattison Ag to the Sales Team for consideration. This individual will require a clear and conceptual thinking ability, excellent judgement and discretion, ability to handle work-related stress, have the ability to meet deadlines, and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
You must have, excellent written and verbal communication skills in individual or group settings; exert thorough knowledge of operating agriculture equipment; have proficiency in Microsoft Office products; the ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies; ability to work independently and in a team environment; and possess excellent analytical and interpretive skills. This person must meet the physical requirements of standing/walking for long periods of time; kneeling, squatting or bend; be able to life/carry up to 50lbs and push/pull up to 100lbs; work in hot or cold weather conditions; climb, crawl, stoop, kneel, or working overhead; and drive up to 4 hours per day. You must also possess a valid drivers license, an ability to travel throughout Saskatchewan and Western Manitoba, and can work flexible hours, if needed.
A minimum Grade 12 or equivalent education; 3+ years of heavy and/or agriculture equipment experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience; and a licensed Agriculture Mechanic is considered to an asset.
