Brandt Engineered Products is currently seeking a Training Technician.
Responsible for delivering new equipment directly to customer locations throughout North America; keep the customer informed of arrival times; budget travel expenses, and maintain a clean driving record.
The Training Technician is our most direct contact between our organization and our valued customers; it is their duty to represent Brandt in a professional and positive manner at all times.
-Prepare equipment for final delivery to the customer: (PDI) make final adjustments and test and tune and ensure equipment is in show-room condition prior to delivery.
-Trains and educates customers and new operators at time of delivery on all aspects of the equipment including safety, operation & functionality, and regular maintenance.
-Helps customer service representatives and fellow team member to troubleshoot problems.
-Help to ensure that training materials and operation manuals are kept up-to-date: provide insight from interactions with the end-users.
-Adhere to all customer safety & operations programs while on-site.
-Work as an equipment mechanic/assembler within the Rail Production Assembly Department between deliveries; assist in assembling new equipment, repairing/refurbishing older equipment, aid in problem diagnosis and trouble-shooting.
Required Skills:
-Journeyman Mechanic (or other mechanical competencies)
-1A Drivers License
-Heavy equipment operator experience
-Equivalent of a Grade 12 diploma and a minimum of five years related experience.
-Applicant must be fluent in English, (French is an asset) with good communication skills
-An English language assessment may be requested by Brandt.
-Strong organization skills are required.
