Job Duties
1. Drive and operate truck-trailer for long haul (Canada and US)
2. Oversee all aspects of vehicle, such as condition of equipment, loading and unloading, and safety and security of cargo.
3. Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicles systems and equipment such as tires, brakes, lights etc.
4. Recording cargo information and trip details
5. Maintain logs of hours and service in log book or on-board computer
7. Communicating with dispatcher and other drivers
Job Requirements
1. Experience: 1-2 years of driving experience required along with Class 1 drivers license
2. Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel.
Willing to travel by day/evening/night including travel on overnight routes.
3. Willing to travel for extended periods of time and candidate must be legally entitled to work in Canada/US and must be willing to drive long haul trucks as an individual or as a two-person team.
4. Loading Waiting time charges Paid after two hours.
