Futuristic Industries Inc. is accepting resumes for the position of Executive Director.

The Executive Director is responsible for the effective and efficient day to day operation of the organization as set out by the Board of Directors.  

Futuristic Industries Inc. provides Residential and Vocational supports to 40+ adults with intellectual disabilities. The agency consists of a Workshop, Activity Center, 3 Group Homes and a Supportive Living program. Futuristic Industries also manages recycling depots for SARCAN in Humboldt & Lanigan.

Qualifications:
- University degree in a related field and/or 5+ experiences in the area of mental or intellectual disability or developmental program in the human service field.
- Crisis Intervention training
- First Aid/CPR
- Experience dealing with the public, government officials, and various community organizations an asset.

SPECIAL SKILLS:
The Executive Director must be mature, have a keen desire to work with persons with various disabilities, and have the drive and passion to create a culture of love, dignity and respect for those supported. He/she must be creative and have a talent for developing challenging and profitable projects. He/she must have outstanding communication skills, be flexible, patient, handle stressful and unpredictable situations with professionalism and ease. He/she must be an advocate for the individuals supported, and have a keen desire to expand the agency.


Compensation based on education and experience.  Benefit plan in place.  Must provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sect Check prior to employment.
