Description

Program Info:  Offered in partnership with the Ministry of Social Services.

The Family Support Services Program is a home-based service focusing on the healthy development of families and children.  The priority of the program is to ensure the safety of children.  The goal is to maintain the family unit or support the healthy reunification of children with their families, whenever it is possible, and only when it is safe.  Support services concentrate on parenting, dialing living skills, personal wellness and community resources.

Description: The Program Manager is responsible to the Program Director in all matters pertaining to his/her work at the Agency.  The Program Manager is responsible for the coordination and supervision of the Family Support Services Program which includes both mandated and diversion services.

Preferred Qualifications: A degree in Human Services, or equivalent, as well as, supervisory experience and knowledge of the Child and Family Services Act. Knowledge of parenting programs, in-home support services, and a family-centered approach will be an asset.  The successful candidate must be proficient in MS Word and Excel.
