Above and Beyond Autism Consulting Services (ABACS) is a Regina-based company dedicated to providing services to individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families throughout Saskatchewan. ABACS mission is to maximize the potential of each learner with autism by providing an intensive, comprehensive, individualized program based on the scientific principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). The Lead IT oversees Applied Behaviour Analytic individualized programs, completes assessments, evaluates the effectiveness of each learner's program, assists in the training and supervision of ITs and works directly with learners diagnosed with autism and their families.
1. Provides direct service in Intensive Behavioural Intervention (IBI) in one-on-one or group setting, monitors clients progress and effectiveness of individual programs, prepares teaching materials
2. Collects data and records findings, writes communication notes, updates individual program binders and individualized programs based on client progress, assists in the training and supervision of ITs
3. Must have a solid knowledge of the autism spectrum and of the Verbal Behaviour and Intensive Behavioural Intervention approach. Basic computer skills are essential
4. Expected to act as leader when it comes to training and overseeing ITs and communicate in a professional manner with all staff
Other: Must successfully complete the mandatory training requirements.
Must have a valid Saskatchewan drivers license with access to a vehicle.
Hours: 30-35 hours/wk
ABACS is open M-F 9:00am-5:00pm. The successful applicant must be available to work during these hours.
Candidate is eligible for 80% coverage of health and dental services after successful completion of the training requirements.
