Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Nutrition Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of the organization's Nutrition Program. The goal of this program is to expose the organization's children and youth to healthy food options through prepared snacks and meals as well as teach them the basics of cooking/baking. This position must work in accordance with the Core Values of Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada as well as focus on key issues and priorities of our community.
Duties include, but are not limited to: purchasing food/program supplies, preparing daily snacks, cooking meals, ensuring kitchen facility is stocked and clean, and developing/implementing nutrition programming for children and youth.
Nutrition Coordinator Certificate would be an asset to this position.
Valid Class 5 and personal vehicle required to perform job duties.
Must be bondable with willingness to complete a RCMP Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check.
