Description

Ensure smooth operation of office equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work
Manage budget submissions, contracts administration and work schedules
Perform bookkeeping tasks such as preparing invoices and bank deposits and sort, process and verify receipts, expenditures, forms and other documents
Prepare and verify statements of earnings for employees and prepare employee payments and benefit payments by cheque or electronic transfer
Calculate, prepare and issue documents related to accounts such as bills, invoices, inventory reports, account statements and other financial statements using computerized and manual systems
Must have knowledge in web designing and updating company's website and upload photos of projects and keep it up to date
Co-ordinate, assign and review the work of clerks engaged in the following duties: word processing; record keeping and filing; operating telephones and switchboards; data entry; desktop publishing; and other activities involving general office and administrative skills
Establish work schedules and procedures and co-ordinate activities with other work units
Resolve work-related problems and prepare and submit progress and other reports
Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
Requisition supplies and materials

Qualifications:
- Above average communication skills in English.
- Completion of secondary school is required
- Completion of a one- or two-year college or other program for administrative assistants or secretaries
- Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and basic accounting skills
- Web designing and knowledge in photography is required
- Previous clerical experience is required.
