AGI Envirotank is a Saskatchewan company who is a leading manufacturer of above and below ground steel storage tanks for both shop-built and field erected applications. We are currently looking for an individual to operate our CNC Plasma Cutting Table in a busy fabrication shop environment.
This position requires strong organizational skills to manage multiple cutting jobs, tracking of materials and heat numbers to the parts and work orders. Utilizing our Controlled Automation software to create and optimize cutting nests, and perform the cutting operations, the table operator is responsible for efficient operation of all aspects of the cutting table including performance of table maintenance and consumable management.
This is a physically demanding position in loading and handling sheet steel, and off loading, cleaning and organizing cut parts for the fabrication floor.
This is an entry level position however individuals with some CAD experience, knowledge of steel grades, gauges, and shapes, would be a definite asset.
Qualification & Experience Requirements:
Familiar with Windows OS, file management
Good oral and written communication skills.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Motivated, hardworking and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be willing to relocate.
Must be a permanent Canadian resident.
Must speak and read English fluently.
Major Responsibilities
Strong attention to detail, competent with either imperial or metric dimensioning.

Load, setup, nest & program
Abilities to maintain and troubleshoot CNC equipment.
Ensure CNC area is clean, tidy & clear of hazards.
Be punctual and reliable for shifts, flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required.
