Description

Position:
-Experienced Construction Worker
-Over 20 years experience

Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and self-confident individual to help run our development and construction jobs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all duties related to completing construction tasks by the set deadlines, ensuring OH&S rules are followed, working within the team, and also working independently when required.

Nicor Group is a family business with nearly 30 years experience serving Regina.  We are four companies working together under one roof.  We are experts in repurposing buildings others see as obsolete.  From heritage development, to residential and commercial property management, construction to realty.  

Education:
-Grade 12 education minimum required.

Necessary skills and traits:
-Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills including written, verbal and presentation.

-Experienced with power tools, hand tools, and other job site materials.

-Understands and follows work site safety guidelines. Works as an ambassador for Nicor to ensure sub trades are following correct rules while on site.

-Mature and comfortable dealing with a wide variety of people, with a large focus on customer service.

-Valid drivers license.

-Ability to work in a team environment and actively participate in our weekly rental and company meetings.

-Organizational skills and the ability to follow through to bring tasks to their completion.
-Ability to routinely follow processes and improve upon them.

-Deal with tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize competing priorities.

-Microsoft Office suite of products and the ability to quickly learn new software programs.

Hours and wage
-Salary negotiable; 40 hours/week.
-Having a flexible work schedule, a requirement to be able to show suites, etc.
