NLSD #113 invites applications for the position of a full-time EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT

This is a full-time position commencing as soon as possible until June 28, 2019. The suitable candidates will be able to perform the following duties:
    assist classroom teachers in and out of the classroom by providing students
    with special needs additional support
    work with school staff to promote with individuals and groups to support
    student and school learning goals and
    support student growth by participating in school activities.
    The suitable candidates will possess the following qualifications:
    grade 12 preferred experience or specialized training working with Special Needs Students  
    and/or early years children is highly preferred
    ability to work directly with the classroom teacher with limited supervisor to deliver programming to students
    must be caring, loving, compassionate and enjoy working with children and
    have the ability to maintain confidentiality.
