Invites applications for the position of
Journeyperson Carpenter/Maintenance
La Loche
Northern Lights School Division No. 113 requires a talented, ambitious and self-motivated journeyperson carpenter for residential and commercial buildings; must work independently and with other team members; must be trustworthy, have good finishing carpentry skills. The successful applicant will be required to conduct check-ins/check-outs of teacherages. Applicants must have a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle.
This position is a permanent full-time position based out of La Loche. The successful candidate will be required to perform scheduled and emergency repairs at schools and housing units.
Candidates must have Saskatchewan journeyperson carpentry ticket and be able to work effectively with a minimum of supervision. Knowledge of building construction and building maintenance would be an asset.
Northern Lights School Division No. 113 offers the following: competitive base wage, shift schedule varies depending on position, paid for benefits package (i.e. vision/dental/health), sick leave entitlements, housing may be available, tool allowance, and mileage paid.
