Basadinaa Property Management Ltd. is seeking an energetic, innovative team player for the position of Leasing Agent.  Basadinaa manages 500+ residential cottage lots with over 300 active leases situated at beautiful Crooked Lake, Saskatchewan, in the scenic QuAppelle Valley.  The Leasing Agent will become the public face of Basadinaa and the key liaison between the property management office and the current and prospective tenants.  Basadinaa is looking for a friendly, outgoing individual who enjoys outdoors and has previous experience in sales, customer and or client relations and can offer competent leasing and property management services.
Summary:  The Leasing Agent is an executive support position and is under the direction of the General Manager.  The primary responsibility is to provide efficient leasing administration services, that foster positive relationships with the tenants.  They will also be responsible for file management; rent rolls; system maintenance and understanding the legislative and leasing compliance frameworks.  The Leasing Agent will find potential tenants and determine their property needs, as well as their economic viability.
Qualifications:
- Must possess at minimum a technical administration certificate and or equivalent experience, in addition to 3-5 years of bookkeeping and financial record keeping experience.
- Certified Leasing Officer (CLO) designation would be an asset.
- Must be computer literate and be well versed in using MS Office, Quick books or other accounting software, in addition to other office equipment such as copier, fax, security systems, etc.  Experience in the use of leasing software will be an asset.
- Should be knowledgeable of the cottage lot industry and the general property market.
- Must possess a valid Saskatchewan drivers license and a dependable vehicle.
- Must submit a current criminal record check (CPIC) and 3 written references, with resume.
