Description

Creative Kitchens is a cabinet company specializing in kitchens, bathrooms and much more. We are looking for a hardworking and motivated individual to join our team as a Showroom Associate.

The position is a Full Time 12-month term position covering a maternity leave.

The Showroom Associate must possess excellent customer service skills and they will be responsible for answering and directing telephone calls and will be the first person to greet customers and suppliers when they visit our showroom.

The Showroom Associate will be responsible for various tasks that impact the overall success of the company. Tasks to include but are not limited to:
- Sales and Customer Service
- Preparing estimates and job proposals
- Maintaining inventory and samples
- Organizing office and showroom supplies
- Light cleaning of showroom, displays, and work space
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Contacting vendors, placing orders, and receiving deliveries
- Filing, data entry and basic bookkeeping
- Creating reports, estimates, invoices, and processing payments
- Assisting customers as needed whether by phone, through email or in person
- Providing administrative support to management and other staff

A Successful Candidate should meet the following requirements:
- Organized and able to multi-task
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to follow detailed instruction and accepts training and feedback
- Can work independently and is able to complete tasks on time without requiring supervision
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel
- Available to be scheduled, as required, during regular business hours (business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm)
- An interest or background in Design is an asset
