Description

This position will be responsible for providing administrative support to the International Education department. This position will liaise with the Registrars office on student applications; providing ongoing advising to current and potential Sask Polytech international students related to admission requirements, and direct students to immigration information on the CIC and provincial government website. The position will also be responsible for financial reporting and monitoring for our overseas brokering agreements, preparing budget documents and reports, coordinating overseas travel arrangements, providing logistical support for international visitors, maintaining and managing International Education files, including agent management, administers application, admission and enrollment reports and assist in developing promotional materials.
1. Responsible for recording budgets and tracking revenues/expenditures, including administration and reconciliation of overseas bank accounts, under the direction of the international education team.
2. Provide support to new and current international students in terms of program selection, direction to immigration information, housing, airport pick-up and other advising/support as required.
3. Respond to day to day inquiries and phone calls from international students and agents.
4. Provide logistical support for both local events and international deployments.
5. Provide administrative support (i.e. outlook schedule coordination, data recording, report generation, paper and electronic filing, proofreading and minute taking.).
6. Provide liaison and administrative support to field offices (cash advances, reconciling expenses/reports, processing payments etc.).
7. Maintain a variety of office files, records, forms and documents.
