Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Taking primary responsibility and ownership of files, by independently managing work flow and presenting complete work product to Partner on a timely basis.
- Understanding the client's industry and recognize key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments.
- Monitoring engagement team's progress against the plan and alter it when needed.
Identifying and resolving accounting, audit and tax issues.
- Developing people by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the team.
- Conducting timely performance reviews and providing performance feedback/training.
- Developing strong technical audit, accounting and tax skill

 

Skills and Abilities

Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
 - Society of Certified Management Accountants (CMA) membership
 - Certified General Accountants Association (CGA) membership
 - Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA) Accreditation
Additional Skills

 - Prepare financial information for individuals, departments or companies
 - Prepare financial statements and reports
 - Prepare income tax returns from accounting records
