Description

Adecco is currently hiring for a Payroll Administrator in Regina, SK. To qualify for this role, you must have 3-5 years experience in payroll.

Responsibilities:

Ensures timely and accurate processing of bi-weekly payroll for up to two Canadian companies.

Conducts regular payroll reporting (as required) and assists with financial audits related to pay records and associated general ledger.

Maintains updated procedure documentation and records for payroll processing.

Maintains the company vehicle taxable fringe program, includes collecting of data, calculations, and payroll entry as well as audit and true up functions.

Conducts new hire onboarding; including, but not limited to training on the payroll system (ADP), benefits over view, and website (GWL)

Keeps abreast of current payroll tax requirements and relevant laws associated with the processing of employee wage data, including, but not limited to payroll taxes, employee provincial income social insurance taxes, and other required reporting (EI, workers compensation, deferred benefits, etc).

Assists staff with general questions related to payroll, leave accruals, wage deductions, fringe benefits, and other pay related issues as requested.

Assists with implementation and maintenance of compensation and rewards systems.


Qualifications:

Ability to accurately apply knowledge of effective personnel, human resources policies and procedures, and payroll laws.

Strong working knowledge of MS Office, required.

Proven ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; skillfully gathers and analyzes information.

Strong interpersonal skills, required. Ability to maintain confidentiality and remain open to others ideas.

Strong oral and written communication and time management skills.

Able to travel frequently.

College degree in related field, or equivalent, preferred.

At least three years payroll experience, preferably with ADP.
