The Coronach Recreation Board envisions a community that is actively involved in growing and sustaining lifelong recreation programs and services. We are dedicated to providing quality lifestyle/recreation to the residents of Coronach and the Sportsplex is an integral part of these opportunities. We are looking to fill the position of permanent full time or part time caretaker for our Sportsplex.
The caretaker will be responsible for maintenance of the Sportsplex which houses the hockey rink, curling rink, the adjacent pool and surrounding campground and ball diamonds. Other duties include daily seasonal checks (pool levels in summer, refrigeration checks on ice plant in winter) as well as year round building and equipment checks. This position includes custodial services, minor facility repairs and to ensure patrons have a safe and enjoyable experience. The nature of this position requires some weekend and evening work so must be flexible in hours.
Wage for this position is $20-$25/hr depending on experience and includes benefits. We are seeking someone that is self motivated and able to work and plan independently.

Specific Maintenance Activities
- Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
- Remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
- Perform routine maintenance jobs and repairs

- Sweep, mop, scrub and wax floors
- Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on heating, cooling and ventilation systems
