Sandy Bay is a community of over 1000 people on the eastern side of the divisions jurisdiction. The town is located in the breath-taking beauty of the Precambrian Shield. The waters of the local rivers and the rugged terrain provide great beauty and opportunities for marvellous fishing, hunting and outdoor activities.
Hector Thiboutot Community School in Sandy Bay, Saskatchewan is a designated
K-12 community school with approximately 566 students. There is professional staff compliment of 37 supported by paraprofessional, clerical and library staff. Sandy Bay is a community of about 1500 located along the Churchill River system 443 km northeast of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
This is a continuing full-time teaching position to start as soon as possible. The successful candidate must be eligible for Saskatchewan Professional A or Provisional Professional A teaching certification.
Salary is according to the provincial grid plus a benefits package that includes subsidized, furnished housing and a northern living allowance. Moving assistance may also be available.
