Description

The Regina Construction Association (RCA) is a non-profit corporation that serves over 400 member organizations in Reginas Industrial, Commercial and Institutional construction sectors. The RCAs objective is to provide its members with relevant services, information, and support to promote new opportunities, educational programs, advocating efforts, marketing services, networking events and more. The RCA lives its reputation as the One-Stop Shop for complete procurement information from conception to completion.

Executive Director

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for the Regina Construction Association. The Executive Director will be responsible for developing and maintaining sound financial practices and oversee the Associations staff and volunteers. With a passion and energy for the construction industry, the Executive Director will work towards meeting and exceeding the annual goals and objectives of the Association. The Executive Director will work in tandem with the Board to develop the strategic plan, support public relations, issue-based advocacy campaigns, and facilitate the annual elections to the Board of Directors. The Executive Director will have a local, provincial, and national presence representing the Regina Construction Association.

The ideal candidate will bring:
-10+ years experience in a management role, at least 5 of which have been in a senior leadership position
-A degree in a recognized post-secondary institution (is preferred)
-Superior networking and relationship building skills
-Experience working with and presenting to a board
-An upstanding reputation with key stakeholders in Regina
-Budget management and accounting skills
-An interactive and collaborative leadership style that fosters open communication
