Water Security Agency (WSA) is seeking an enthusiastic individual to provide analytical financial and administrative support to the organization in a timely and efficient manner. Duties and responsibilities will primarily focus on compiling reporting and budgeting requirements; preparing and reconciling year end working papers; preparing third party funding and other reports with a variety of requirements for external customers; and providing support to the Manager in relation to process and/or system changes within the organization and for internal and external reporting.
Our Financial Services group provides support through safeguarding the assets of the organization to ensure its success. This position will assist in the preparation and review financial reports to meet WSAs financial reporting requirements; analyze budget variances to identify significant trends; monitor and report expenditure and revenue information on an ongoing basis; and support preparation of expenditure and revenue forecasts to monitor spending and ensure spending is within approved limits.
The successful candidate will have a Degree in Commerce or Administration or similar discipline, a Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) Designation, working towards it, with completion in the immediate future and 3 years of directly related experience.
