We have a position available for a Data Analyst in our Regina location. The Data Analyst will be responsible for working with IT project teams to identify, assess and translate business data from multiple sources to a single record for the use in the corporate business system.
Major Responsibilities
Partner with business and technology partners to identify, assess, and translate data from multiple sources and develop data quality rules.
Work with Business Analysts, IT technical staff and Data Owners within the business to understand and document the data, the flow of data within a business process, and how it is used and consumed by other processes.
Build and document the data quality rules embedded in the tool set deployed at Brandt.
Form the framework for establishing, monitoring and identifying the issues of Data Quality.
Establish the audit parameters and conduct regular audits on the quality of Brandt Data.
Work with Project Managers and other project resources to ensure all tasks are completed on time and value is being delivered to the business
Qualifications/Requirements
Strong analytical skills applied to understanding business data, data flow within a business process and consumption of business data by downstream processes.
Previous experience working with ETL, and Data Quality tool sets.
Excellent understanding of complex data systems and business processes
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise with data, data flow and business processes
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems
3-5 Years relevant experience
