The Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure, Fleet Services, is seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic for its Moose Jaw Repair Depot.

Under the general direction of the Service Supervisor, you will provide customer repair services to Fleet Services clients. As a Heavy Duty Mechanic you will work on all types of trucks, highway construction and maintenance equipment and be responsible for:
-mechanical repairs
-preventative maintenance
-Saskatchewan Government Insurance safety inspections
Services are performed in the shop and field. Travel is required with the possibility of overnight stays.

To qualify for this position, you will possess:
-A valid Journeyperson Certificate in Heavy Equipment, Truck and Transport, Agricultural Mechanics,
-3rd or 4th year apprentice may be considered if no qualified Journeyperson Mechanics apply.
-A valid Class 3A operator's license, or will have the ability to upgrade to within the probationary period.
