Description

Meadow Lake Mechanical Pulp Inc. is the world's first successful zero-effluent-discharge market pulp mill that is a state-of-the-art, chlorine-free bleached chemi-thermo mechanical pulp (BCTMP) facility. We offer a safe, dynamic work environment and an attractive wage and benefit package; Meadow Lake is a non-unionized mill.

The Order Management Planner ensures the pulp product is delivered to the customer without damage in a cost effective manner, on time, and according to defined specifications.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor finished product flow through the supply chain to customers & takes action where necessary
- Maintain system to ensure the most cost effective selection & monitoring of transport providers
- Coordinate order realization from production through to sales completion
- Manage site loading and trans-shipments of finished product
- Ensure all inventory is tracked, monitored and entered correctly into SAP
- Manage unapproved inventory resolution: damaged, excess prime, off spec/off grade
- Maintain knowledge of current international import/export regulations
- Develop and maintains effective working relationships with Pulp Sales, Operations and Logistics groups
- Willingness to cross-share and train within the Logistics department

Qualifications:
- Minimum two years of Supply Chain &/or Logistics experience is desired
- Possess situational awareness with the ability to adapt to new and changing environments
- Ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Self motivated with the ability to meet tight deadlines with multiple priorities
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in computer usage
