Description

The Maintenance Supervisor supervises and coordinates the efforts of a team of hourly trades people involved in ongoing facility equipment maintenance. This person is responsible for overall utilization of plant resources to achieve strategic maintenance and reliability objectives. This also includes implementation of capital projects, and management of all maintenance activities.


Requirements

-Minimum 2 years work experience in a related plant environment/food industry and overall knowledge/familiarity of a large variety of processing equipment.           

-Minimum 3 years supervisory experience is an asset.    

-Process or Mechanical Engineering, or Millwright trade is preferred

-Experience with Lean manufacturing is an asset

-Prior experience in a Unionized environment would be beneficial

-An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
