Gabriel Dumont Institute Training & Employment (GDI T&E) is currently looking to fill (3) Apprentice Welder positions which have been made available with one of our employer partners.
GDI T&E partners with employers across Saskatchewan willing to hire and train Aboriginal apprentices (Metis, First Nations, Non-Status, Inuit) through our Aboriginal Apprenticeship Project.
Applicant must be able to:
* read and interpret blueprints
* have a valid drivers license
* determine layout of systems
* install sheet metal according to drawings and blueprints
* measure and mark sheet metal according to blueprints, drawings and specifications.
Skills:

- Cut materials using power tools or by hand
- Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specification
