COUNTER/PARTS SALESPERSON
The primary responsibility of the counter/parts salesperson is to service customers. He/she should be knowledgeable about parts and able to use the parts catalogues. He/she should be capable of dealing intelligently with customers both in person and on the phone.
DEFINITION
To assist in the purchasing of a variety of parts for Municipal Services including Automotive and Utilities, maintain parts room, coordinate and control inventory program, pickup and deliver parts upon request and see that all parts are charged to the proper accounts using a computerized maintenance management system.
PARTS COUNTER SALESPERSON
Customer satisfaction and sales are is the top responsibilities of the parts counter salesperson. He/she provides merchandise, supplies or information for all customers, both external and internal, while aiding in the achievement of department and dealership goals and objectives.
