Description

The new position of Housing Relationship Manager will be primarily responsible for supporting Case Managers within Saskatoon in finding safe and suitable housing vacancies for program participants. This includes but is not limited to building tools and resources to find and support stakeholders for successful, long-term housing. The Housing Relationship Manager will also be responsible for building and sustaining strong relationships with Housing Case Mangers, rental property owners and managers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build rental housing vacancies database.
- Create effective business relationships with multi-level stakeholders.
- Develop tools and resources to strengthen the success of the HPS program.
- Ensure that landlord and tenant roles and responsibility are understood.
- Research a variety of agencies housing needs.
- Negotiate reasonable rental application requirement to increase the current rental housing stock.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with managing in the rental housing sector.
- Support Housing Case Managers with liaising with rental property managers.
- Provide rental program advise.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office tools.
- Completion of post-secondary education in Business Administration, Real Estate or related field is recommended. However, related experience will also be considered.
- Excellent written and oral communications.
- A comprehensive understanding of rental housing business practices.
- Self-motivated, self-starter and work effectively as part of a team.
- Demonstrate excellent business and interpersonal skills (tact and diplomacy).
- Enthusiastic and passionate about building relationships.
- Organizational skills and the ability to deliver high-quality results.
- Analytical, Strategic and Innovative thinking.
- Political and Cultural Sensitivities.
